Here's another opinion on disability etiquette. Many with disabilities wish that there were some basic understanding of interaction that does not result in either, being treated like a child or pitied.
There has to be some basic ground rules that everyone can live by. It can be as simple as asking if we help rather than pushing the person aside or being at eye level when speaking.

Swine Flu Outbreak
Everyone needs to take precaution with the swine flu moving from country to country. Health officials are reminding us that the best remedy right now is frequent hand washing.
Remember if you're doing something where your hands are used and you wipe your eyes, ears, or mouth that gets in your immune system.
If you're not sure how long to wash (soap and water), sing Happy Birthday (how loud is up to you.)
