People With Disabilities Old Perceptions Remain

How often are you with someone a family member, friend, c0-worker and they start saying something that is not politically correct - p.c.? Do you correct them? Do you let it go? Does the
person speaking/writing know what they've done? Do you give them a pass because - they didn't mean anything bad by it?

This is an interesting response to a story that was supposed to shed (a positive) light for people with mental disabilities. Sometimes trying to do the right/say the right thing does more harm than good.

Accessible Parking Wars

This story has been told many times: you go somewhere and someone either who parks illegally in an accessible spot or the ramp is blocked by an object and you can't get out. The list of situations is endless.

Here's another story of some one's frustration. The link also include the reader comments.
