Primary Day Is Here - But Can You Vote?

Pennsylvania's closed primary is today and everyone, who can, should voice their opinion for the candidates of your party. A closed primary means that unless you are a Democrat you can only vote for Democrats, a Republican can only vote for Republicans. This is unlike the general election where you are able to vote for a candidate regardless of the party you are in (if you are in a party) and regardless to what party the person you are voting for is registered.

Now that you've decided to vote today - Good job! (If you voted absentee ballot - Good job!)

Do you have a way to get to the polling location?
If you are able to get to the polling location, can you enter the building?
Do you have identification to show who you are?
If you're not listed, there are steps involved to get a ballot, the easiest way to find out is to ask at the polling location. Do not leave without voting!

Let us know if there are any issues with getting in the building. A few years ago, a firehouse was used as a polling location, however it required assistance to get through the door - not independent living. Possibly seeing the struggle to get in that by next election a ramp was put in that allows one to get inside effortless.
